I am in St. Louis visiting my good friends David and Jami Dalton. We went to see the Arch yesterday- considered the "Gateway of the West." It reminded me of the pioneering spirit that existed in our country and how similar they must have felt to my own situation- venturing off into the unknown.

I am excited to get to Ethiopia. I will be there by the middle of September.
